Dell XPS 14 Review: The Refreshing Return of a New Classic

Dell has brought back the XPS name with the XPS 14, ending its short-lived Dell Premium branding experiment.

The new 14-inch model uses Intel Panther Lake chips, offers IPS and OLED options, and delivers strong performance, quiet cooling, and long battery life.

Usability is improved with physical function keys and a large haptic touchpad, making it a more compelling Windows alternative to the MacBook Pro.

Drawbacks remain: the starting price is high, ports are limited, there’s no fingerprint reader, and the seams can trap debris.
