Apex Legends' Axle is another movement character, but other playstyles are "viable and important," devs say

Apex Legends Season 29 adds Axle, a movement-focused Legend built around team-oriented mobility instead of a motorcycle ultimate.

Respawn confirmed Gibraltar is unchanged, while Vantage and Conduit were reworked to better fit the new season meta.

Weapon balance and map rotation were adjusted, including changes to the L-Star, CAR, and Hemlok across Storm Point, Broken Moon, and Olympus.

A new limited death box respawn system lets teams bring back allies more directly, speeding up recovery after fights.
