Deepening our collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy

OpenAI signed a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. Department of Energy to expand collaboration on AI and advanced computing.

The agreement builds on existing work with DOE national labs to support scientific research and high-performance computing.

It also creates a framework for information sharing, future project agreements, and support for the Genesis Mission.

The partnership could accelerate U.S. scientific discovery by combining frontier AI with national lab expertise and infrastructure.
