Android Auto connections were affected for both wired and wireless setups and sometimes required the device to be unlocked, problems affected both wired and wireless connections and included a prompt about unlocking the device.

Android Auto app can be updated via the Play Store, google advised users to check for Android Auto app updates on the Play Store.
