Google started rolling out an update for Android Auto, google has started sending an email to a news outlet.

Android Auto users experienced inconsistent connections that required unlocking phones to establish connection, users reported connection failures requiring phone unlock.

Affected devices included Pixel 10, Pixel 9, Pixel 8, Pixel 7 series and Galaxy S26 devices, reports included multiple Pixel generations and Samsung.

Google has not issued a public statement on help pages regarding the issue, google did not publish a public help page statement.
