LG unveils 'world's first' native 1,000 Hz refresh rate at 1080p for serious competitive gaming — UltraGear 25G590B to launch in the second half of 2026

LG unveiled the UltraGear 25G590B, a 24.5-inch IPS esports monitor with a claimed native 1,000 Hz refresh rate at 1920x1080.

It is aimed at competitive FPS players and adds motion blur reduction, low-reflection coating, and AI-based picture and audio features.

LG says it is the first display to reach 1,000 Hz at full HD without relying on reduced-resolution dual-mode tricks.

The monitor is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2026.
