Apple’s major MacBook Pro overhaul is reportedly ‘slightly’ delayed due to supply chain shortages

Bloomberg says Apple’s redesigned MacBook Pro is being pushed back slightly because RAM and SSD shortages are constraining supply.

The new model is expected to bring OLED, touch screen features, and M6 Pro/M6 Max chips.

The Mac Studio update is also delayed, while software for the touch screen Mac remains on track for macOS 27 in the fall.

The slip suggests memory supply pressure, not software issues, is affecting Apple’s next major Mac hardware upgrades.
