Loongson Targets Intel 12th Gen and Radeon RX 550 Performance With 3B6600 CPUs and 9A1000 GPUs Launching Next Year

Loongson said its 3B6600 CPU has finished design and is heading toward tape-out in 2026, with launch expected next year.

The company’s 9A1000 GPU taped out in 2025 and is also expected to arrive next year.

Loongson says the 3B6600 should target performance around Intel 12th Gen CPUs, while the 9A1000 is aimed at Radeon RX 550-class graphics.

The chipmaker also discussed longer-term plans for higher-end GPUs and possible moves into DRAM and Android-related markets.
