Hurricane Fausto Is Headed Towards Hawaii — Will It Make It?

Hurricane Fausto, the sixth named storm of the eastern Pacific season, is moving northwest toward Hawaii with winds around 80 mph.

Forecasters say it should pass just north of the islands and weaken over cooler water and stronger wind shear.

Even without landfall, Fausto could still bring dangerous surf, rip currents, rain, and gusty winds to parts of Hawaii.
