Unitree Robotics released a demo of the wheeled quadruped AS2-W, showing it moving across rocks, stairs, steep slopes, and water’s edge.

The robot also demonstrated jumps from steps and even a backflip, highlighting its agility beyond normal legged robots.

AS2-W can reach up to 21.6 km/h, handle 80 cm obstacles and 45-degree inclines, and carry about 16 kg.

The hybrid wheel-leg design could make it useful for security, inspections, and logistics where speed and obstacle handling both matter.
