Amazon opens logistics services to outside users: the ‘AWS for logistics’

Amazon launched Amazon Supply Chain Services, opening its logistics network to outside companies.

The new service provides transport, warehousing, fulfillment, parcel delivery, customs, and shipment tracking.

Amazon is piloting the offering with P&G, 3M, Lands’ End, and American Eagle.

The move could expand Amazon’s role in third-party logistics across healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, and retail.
