Gen Con 2026: All the news, reveals, and tabletop gaming announcements

Gen Con 2026 opened in Indianapolis with a wave of new board game, card game, and tabletop RPG reveals.

Brotherwise Games announced Plotweaver, a new system built from the mechanics of the Cosmere Roleplaying Game.

Plotweaver’s open alpha begins Aug. 5, with additional releases planned later this year and in 2027.

The announcement shows how major publishers are using Gen Con to launch new products and expand licensed RPG systems.
