Now, Gemini might get proactive with timely, personalized 'suggestions'

Google may be testing a Gemini feature called Proactive Assistance that uses connected apps and notifications to surface personalized suggestions at the right time.

An APK teardown suggests it can pull context from Gmail, Calendar, alerts, and even on-screen content to generate timely recommendations.

The code appears tied to an earlier rumored daily briefing feature, possibly now renamed Daily Brief.

If launched, it could make Gemini more anticipatory and useful, but also feel more intrusive by drawing on more personal data.
