Gemini app can now generate Google Docs, PDF, Word, and other files

Google has added direct file creation to the Gemini app, allowing users to generate downloadable Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, Word, Excel, CSV, LaTeX, TXT, RTF, and Markdown files from prompts.

The feature is rolling out globally, making Gemini more practical for everyday productivity and content creation.

Instead of copying and reformatting content manually, users can turn ideas, notes, and data into ready-to-share documents in one step.

Google is also bringing personalization features like Memories and chat import to users in the UK.
