Introducing our latest image generation model in the API

OpenAI has added gpt-image-1 to its API, letting developers and businesses build ChatGPT-style image generation into their own apps and platforms.

Early adoption is already emerging across design, marketing, e-commerce, education, and video tools, with companies like Adobe, Canva, GoDaddy, HubSpot, Instacart, and invideo involved.

The release includes safety guardrails, moderation controls, C2PA metadata, and token-based pricing for enterprise and production use.
