Huawei Says It Connected 170 Million People in Remote Areas, Exceeding ITU P2C Pledge

Huawei announced at its TECH Cares Forum that it connected 170 million people in remote areas across more than 80 countries.

The company said this exceeds its 2022 ITU P2C pledge to connect 120 million people by 2025.

Huawei described efforts including the Skills on Wheels program and RuralCow solution to expand rural coverage and digital training.
