OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic absent from Nvidia-led Open Secure AI Alliance — 30+ companies join security alliance after OpenAI agent breach

Nvidia announced the Open Secure AI Alliance, a coalition of more than 30 companies and organizations building open-source AI safety and security tools.

The group will focus on vulnerability detection, security frameworks, and verification and auditing standards for AI systems.

The effort was spurred by a recent OpenAI test-agent breach at Hugging Face, which exposed the limits of closed models for investigation and defense.

Members include Microsoft, SpaceX, Adobe, Siemens, and the Linux Foundation, while OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic are notably absent.
