Court reverses pause on Epic Games ruling ahead of Apple’s Supreme Court bid

The Ninth Circuit lifted its stay in Epic Games v. Apple and sent the case back to district court.

The court said Apple failed to show the Supreme Court was likely to take the case or that remand would cause irreparable harm.

The district court will now decide what commission, if any, Apple can charge on alternative payment methods.

Apple will keep pursuing Supreme Court review, but the ruling accelerates the next phase of the dispute.
