Google Debuts AI-Powered Tools To Optimize Scientific Research Workflows

At Google I/O 2026, Google unveiled Gemini for Science, an experimental AI suite for research workflows.

The tools include Hypothesis Generation, Computational Discovery, Literature Insights, and Science Skills.

They are rolling out gradually through Google Labs and to enterprise users via Google Cloud.

Google says the suite could speed up literature review, experiment design, and other scientific tasks.
