Artemis II Astronauts Reflect on 'Surreal' Moon Voyage Ahead of Return

Artemis II astronauts are getting their spacecraft ready for the trip back as Earth draws nearer.

Thursday was the mission's penultimate day, and the crew was under 150,000 miles from Earth.

On Monday, the crew set a human distance record of 252,756 miles while passing behind the Moon.

They lost contact with Earth for nearly an hour and saw a total solar eclipse behind the Moon.

The four astronauts held their first news conference since before liftoff after the April 1 Florida launch.
