Supercell CEO and co-founder Ilkka Paananen to receive BAFTA Fellowship

Ilkka Paananen, Supercell’s CEO and co-founder, will receive the BAFTA Fellowship at the 2026 BAFTA Games Awards on April 17.

Paananen co-founded Supercell in 2010, the studio behind Clash of Clans, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars.

Supercell was acquired by Tencent in 2016 with a reported valuation of €8.4 billion.

Paananen also co-founded a foundation in 2015 focused on social and mental well-being for young people and families.
