Xbox Game Pass Losing Some Of Its Best RPGs and Strategy Games Today

Xbox Game Pass is removing five titles on May 31, 2026, including Metaphor: ReFantazio, Persona 4 Golden, Against the Storm, Crypt Custodian, and Spray Paint Simulator.

The biggest losses are Metaphor: ReFantazio and Against the Storm, both among the service’s most acclaimed RPG and strategy games.

Their departure is likely to disappoint subscribers and weaken Game Pass’s lineup in two of its strongest genres.
