YouTube dramatically expands access to PiP mode… rolling out sequentially to all users worldwide

YouTube is rolling out mobile picture-in-picture playback globally in stages.

The feature is expanding to Android and iPhone users, including non-subscribers outside the U.S.

Premium users still get broader access, while some music and short-video limits remain in certain regions.

The wider rollout makes it easier to keep videos playing in a floating window while using other apps.
