Motorola launched the Razr Ultra 2026 and Razr Fold with silicon-carbon batteries, making them the first mainstream U.S. carrier-backed phones to use the technology.

The Razr Ultra 2026 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the Razr Fold uses a 6,000mAh battery.

Both phones stay thin despite the bigger batteries, highlighting silicon-carbon's higher energy density as a new advantage for foldables.

The Razr Ultra's price also increased, but Motorola is betting better battery life and faster charging will set its foldables apart from Apple, Samsung, and Google rivals.
