Google TV has taken over Europe, and that’s probably not changing anytime soon

Omdia data shared by FlatpanelsHD shows Google TV has overtaken Samsung Tizen to become Europe’s largest smart TV platform.

Google TV peaked at nearly 33% market share in 2024, and is expected to dip slightly as smaller platforms grow.

VIDAA and other rivals such as webOS, TiVo OS, Titan, Fire TV, and Roku are gaining ground, but Google TV is still likely to keep the lead.
