SMBC, Fujitsu, and SoftBank launch a healthcare app that links hospital medical data

SMBC Group, Fujitsu, and SoftBank agreed to jointly build a domestic healthcare app platform.

The plan is to link user health data with hospital clinical records, backed by Japanese data centers.

The app aims to support more than 40,000 medical institutions and over 60 million users.

Future features include AI health support, appointment booking, payments, and possible financial service integration.
