Kentucky woman rejects $26M offer to turn her farm into a data center

Ida Huddleston family rejected an offer rejected a $26 million offer to sell part of their farm for a data center.

Huddleston family farm owns land owns about 1,200 acres of farmland outside Maysville, Kentucky.

Ida Huddleston said said she doubted a data center would bring jobs or economic growth to Mason County.

WKRC reported reported that a 'major artificial intelligence company' offered $26 million last year.

Unnamed AI company filed a zoning request filed to rezone more than 2,000 acres in northern Kentucky.
