Android Canary 2605 brings the blur to Pixel system UI

Google has released Android Canary 2605 for supported Pixel devices with the May 2026 security patch.

The preview expands blur effects across system UI, including the volume slider, full volume panel, power menu, and Pixel Launcher menus.

This build also removes the app lock feature.

The update underscores Google’s ongoing testing of visual changes for upcoming Android interface updates on Pixel phones and tablets.
