US FCC Blacklists Foreign Robots on Huawei List as Surveillance Fears Grow – Including NVIDIA Partner Unitree

The FCC expanded its Covered List to include certain foreign-made advanced robots and connected power inverters.

The agency cited supply-chain, cybersecurity, and surveillance risks to U.S. infrastructure.

Chinese robotics firm Unitree, an NVIDIA partner, could be among the most affected companies.

The restrictions apply to new products, while older models are not covered.
