Starlink raises “Standby Mode” to 1,585 yen per month, more than doubling the price

SpaceX will raise Starlink’s standby mode price in Japan to 1,585 yen per month from June 18, up from 730 yen.

The company said higher global operating costs are behind the increase.

Standby mode lets users keep low-speed access and account features while pausing full service.

Discounted customers will see the new rate once their promotional period ends.
