The keyboard used to score Dune 2 is getting more affordable

Expressive E is launching the Osmose CE, a lower-cost 49- or 61-key MIDI controller based on the original Osmose design.

The company removed the synth engine, added new presets, and improved integration with major DAWs like Ableton Live, Bitwig, Cubase, and Logic Pro.

The original Osmose will later get some of the same software features through an update.

The move makes Expressive E’s expressive MPE keyboard more accessible and may help drive wider adoption in studio setups.
