Snapchat now lets you share what you’re listening to in real time

Snapchat has added Now Playing to Snap Map, letting users share what they are listening to in real time.

Users can link Spotify, show friends their current track, and save songs from Spotlight videos.

Sharing can be paused or limited by visibility settings, and it stops automatically after 24 hours of app inactivity.

The update strengthens Snapchat’s push into music discovery and social sharing as it competes with TikTok, Instagram, and Spotify.
