Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced Is Much More Than a Straightforward Remaster

Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, a full remake of the 2013 pirate game rather than a simple remaster.

The remake will feature rebuilt visuals, expanded parkour, rebalanced combat, improved tailing missions, and other modern gameplay updates.

The project modernizes Edward Kenway’s adventure for PS5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC.

Its scope suggests Ubisoft may be using Black Flag as a template for future Assassin’s Creed remakes.
