CXMT on the Priority List for a Spate of China’s New Homegrown DUV Machines, Neutralizing the US MATCH Act, and Bolstering Its Big Bet on 3D DRAM

CXMT is among the first Chinese chipmakers expected to receive domestically made DUV lithography tools.

A Chinese supplier has started producing DUV equipment locally, with small deliveries planned this year and larger volumes next year.

SMIC and Hua Hong are also early recipients, supporting China’s push for semiconductor self-sufficiency.

For CXMT, the tools could reduce reliance on Western equipment and help speed memory expansion and 3D DRAM plans.
