This Samsung Galaxy S26 update makes it ultra-easy to share files with an iPhone

Samsung added AirDrop support to Quick Share on Galaxy S26 devices in a recent update.

AirDrop on Galaxy S26 launched in Korea on March 23, 2026 and is expanding to other regions including the U.S. and Canada.

Users must update the Galaxy S26 OS, have Google Play Services v26.11.xx, and set Apple devices' AirDrop to Everyone for 10 minutes.

Transfers can briefly disconnect the phone from Wi‑Fi and do not work when the mobile hotspot is active.
