Breeding livestock at the ranch yields passive income, food, and specialty materials like Milk and Fleece from your home base.

To breed animals you must bring and register a fully grown male and female pair of the same species at the ranch.

After a fully grown pair is placed and registered, they will produce a baby animal within 5–10 days, depending on species.

Goats take 5 days to breed; cows require more time than goats.

The game provides a table (Pearl Abyss; via GameRant) listing each breedable species’ male and female names, locations, and images; cows use Bull as the male name and Dairy Cow is the female.
