CATL Unveils Third-Generation Qilin Battery with Ultra-Fast Charging and 1,000 km Range

CATL unveiled its third-generation Qilin battery, highlighting up to 15C ultra-fast charging.

The pack delivers 280 Wh/kg energy density and is designed for more than 1,000 km of driving range.

It is also lighter and built with stronger safety protections, including improved thermal runaway resistance.

The new battery could boost EV performance and efficiency while reducing reliance on heavier packs.
