User Tests ASUS’s ROG Equalizer 16-Pin Cable With RTX 5090, Reports 10°C Drop in Temps and Lower Voltage Drop

ASUS’s ROG Equalizer 16-pin GPU power cable ran cooler than a standard 16-pin cable in an RTX 5090D test.

During Furmark stress testing, it showed about 10°C lower cable temperatures and less voltage drop.

The test was performed with a Gigabyte AORUS Master Ice and a ROG Thor 1200W II, and shared on Chiphell Forums.

The results suggest ASUS’s cable design could improve safety and power stability for future high-wattage GPUs.
