Microsoft brings Xbox back, scraps Microsoft Gaming

Microsoft reportedly plans to drop the “Microsoft Gaming” label and rename its gaming division back to Xbox.

The decision was shared in an internal town hall and signals a renewed push to make Xbox the company’s primary gaming identity.

It follows other recent strategy changes, including a Game Pass price cut and reversing plans to add future Call of Duty titles to the service.
