Samsung just got sued for millions of dollars by pop icon Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa has sued Samsung in California federal court over the alleged unauthorized use of her image on TV packaging.

She says Samsung used a copyrighted photo without permission and may have misled buyers into thinking she endorsed the TVs.

Lipa is seeking damages, profits, attorneys’ fees, punitive damages, and an injunction to stop further use.

The case could force Samsung to pull the packaging and pay substantial compensation if the court sides with Lipa.
