Spotify’s new AI app can generate daily briefings and personalized podcasts for you

Spotify launched Studio by Spotify Labs, a desktop AI research preview that creates personalized podcasts, briefings, and playlists.

The app can use optional access to listening history, calendar, inbox, and notes, and can also browse the web for real-time information.

Generated content is saved to the user’s library and kept private, positioning Spotify as more than a streaming platform.

The move pushes Spotify into AI content creation and puts it in closer competition with products like NotebookLM and Alexa Plus.
