Ministry of Science and ICT opens call for designation of 'Quantum Clusters'...expanding on-site applications

The Ministry of Science and ICT launched a call for applications for designated quantum clusters on the 17th.

Metropolitan governments will propose a flagship area — quantum computing, quantum communications, or quantum sensing — plus linked fields for selection as regional quantum innovation hubs.

Applications are open until May 18, and local governments must match at least 30% of the national funding with their own budgets.

The program aims to spread quantum technology into industry at the regional level and strengthen national competitiveness and security.
