AMD’s Entry-Level Ryzen AI 5 435G Matches Ryzen 5 8600G in Leaked Benchmark, Despite Running Well Below Its Boost Clock

An unreleased AMD Ryzen AI 5 435G desktop APU appeared in Geekbench on a B850M board with 32 GB of DDR5.

It scored 2,620 single-core and 10,594 multi-core points, peaking at about 4.09 GHz despite being below its rated boost clock.

The result is close to the Ryzen 5 8600G, suggesting strong entry-level AM5 performance for AMD’s upcoming Ryzen AI 400 desktop line.

The chip is expected to launch first through OEM systems, signaling a more competitive mainstream desktop APU lineup.
