Don't Play Halo: Campaign Evolved on Steam Deck or Xbox Ally

Halo: Campaign Evolved appears to run poorly on Steam Deck-class handhelds despite its Steam Deck Verified label.

In a hands-on test on the Xbox Ally, the game managed only about 25-30 fps at 720p on Very Low with FSR Low, and it looked heavily degraded.

By contrast, Halo: The Master Chief Collection hit roughly 65-70 fps and looked better on the same kind of device.

The recommendation is to use the Master Chief Collection for handheld play and save the remake for stronger hardware.
