Square Glade Games apologized after asking an Outbound player to remove a negative Steam review in exchange for a refund.

The request triggered backlash, with more players criticizing the game’s length, survival mechanics, and $25 Early Access price.

Outbound’s launch was already drawing mixed feedback, especially around bugs, UI issues, and multiplayer stability.

The studio said it will stop asking players to change reviews and will focus on fixes and improvements.
