Do You Have a Galaxy Watch? You Can Now Track Blood Pressure in the U.S.

Samsung has enabled blood pressure monitoring for select Galaxy Watch users in the U.S. via the Samsung Health Monitor app.

The watch measures systolic and diastolic blood pressure and heart rate after calibration with an upper arm cuff every 28 days.

Samsung also offers FDA-authorized sleep apnea detection, FDA-cleared ECG, rhythm alerts, and plans passive blood pressure trend monitoring later this year.

The feature is meant to supplement medical devices and help users track trends and discuss results with healthcare providers.
