DuckDuckGo says app installs and traffic have climbed after Google unveiled a more chatbot-like search experience.

The biggest gains are on iOS and DuckDuckGo’s no-AI search page, noai.duckduckgo.com.

The trend suggests some users want a more traditional, privacy-focused search alternative instead of AI-first results.

DuckDuckGo still offers separate AI tools, including Duck.ai, alongside its standard search.
