STADLER reshapes knowledge work at a 230-year-old company

STADLER, a 230-year-old waste-sorting equipment maker, has rolled out ChatGPT company-wide as a productivity layer for knowledge work.

With leadership backing, training, and guardrails, the company uses AI to draft, summarize, translate, analyze, and document work faster.

STADLER says it has built more than 125 custom GPTs and sees frequent daily use, faster first drafts, and meaningful time savings.

The company now plans to move from AI as an assistant to workflow automation and agent-based operations.
