The Group of Copenhagen reviewed all 104 FIFA World Cup 2026 matches for signs of manipulation or suspicious betting.

Its Council of Europe-reported summary flagged several yellow-level alerts and questioned a Polymarket market tied to player availability.

FIFA’s integrity task force said it found no evidence of suspicious betting or match fixing.

The case underscores growing scrutiny of prediction markets during major sports events and the gap between independent monitors and FIFA.
