Rugged supercomputer built on NVIDIA IGX Thor targets next-gen space missions

Aitech will integrate NVIDIA’s IGX Thor into its rugged S-A2300 AI supercomputer for future space missions.

The new version replaces the Jetson AGX Orin Industrial-based setup and is designed to boost onboard AI performance.

Use cases include navigation, Earth observation, climate monitoring, and debris tracking in orbit.

The upgrade should increase real-time processing in space and reduce reliance on Earth-based systems.
